Use YouTube To Make Transcriptions - Fast & Easy

[blogging/internet][LOTS of pictures] Step 1. Upload your video to YouTube.

Once it's uploaded but before it's processed, you'll have the option to set it to private.
Set it to private if you don't want anyone to watch it - if you're only uploading it to get the transcription. Upload it in the lowest quality if you want it to be uploaded and processed as quickly as possible.
IF YOU ONLY HAVE AN AUDIO FILE, you will need to turn it into a video. If you don't know how to do that, here is a free and easy way to do it without losing the audio quality. Download KINEmaster app on your phone. Import the audio file and use the app to upload the video you made to YouTube.

Step 2. Create the file by copying these steps.
^ Add in missed words, adjust the timing of the caption (if needed/wanted), and fix punctuation and incorrect transcriptions. If the person speaks loudly and quickly in the video, more of the transcription will be correctly auto-completed for you causing this whole process to be WAY easier.

Option 1. IF YOU NEED THE TRANSCRIPTION WITH TIME STAMPS:
It will look like the this:
^ You can copy and paste that text WHEREVER YOU WANT!

OPTION 2. IF YOU DON'T NEED THE TIME STAMPS:
^ If you need BOTH formats, be careful to NOT SAVE ANYTHING after clicking this button.
It will look like this:
^ You can copy and paste that wherever you want. You could also edit in this mode but I find it easier in the previous mode so I don't lose my place.

That's it!
